Five cross-industry thought leaders will be speaking at the Search Church on how they’ve bridged silos to build marketing synergies- like using Social Media to amplify SEO efforts or Paid Search to jumpstart Content Strategy. Whether you or your company are active in online marketing/advertising or are just interested in learning to better manage your online presence, this event is the perfect opportunity to get cutting-edge insights, free consulting and networking with fellow marketers. All admission will be donated to a charity nominated by each of the speakers. Event attendees may choose which charity they would like to support at the event.

Oct 25: MEETUP + HACKTIME with Node.js

Another month, another great night of Node.js. We will be at the ‘Search Church’ this month talking and hacking streams with special guest Luke Arduini coming down from NYC to join us, October 25th 6:30-10PM.


Luke Arduini
Luke is a Javascript fanatic and evangelist who thinks that server-side Javascript by way of node.js is changing the face of programming. He’s currently curating EmpireJS and writing Javascript for every level of the stack at a cloud services company in NYC.


A walkthrough and experience share of creating my first CLI module with Node.

Matt Parke
Matt is a JavaScript developer who loves learning new things. He’s currently interested in writing node.js for single page apps and client side JavaScript libraries.

Our GoalTo  not only help educators better understand the search marketing industry, but show you what type of resources are available to teach students the skillsets needed to successfully land a job in the field upon graduating.

After 23 years, Pepsi called it quits on Super Bowl television ads and decided that money was better spent for an online advertising campaign.

 Big brands and small businesses alike are focusing more on digital and allocating more of their marketing budget toward online strategies, including SEO (search engine optimization) and PPC (pay-per-click advertising).

As a result of this shift, students are finding more opportunity to gain entry into on online marketing field rather a more traditional setting. In fact, the number of people with “SEO” in their title jumped 112% from July 2011 to July 2012.
